F56 BRG Cooper on order with 16 inch Loop Spoke wheels and halogen lamp.

Would you go with a white, black or BRG roof?

I say white.

I did bodycolor since I figure I can always wrap the roof in white if I wanted. Was scared to commit to it. Ha

 

I would go with BRG roof, my R50 is totally BRG and with chrome it pops ! I also run Black wheels and think its a sexy little beast and I often get comments on how nice it looks.

 

My BRG MCS has white mirrors, white roof and 2 stripes on the bonnet. And I love it

 

I say white roof, mirrors and stripes. To me a classic mini is either BRG like this or Red with white like I ordered

 

My BRG has white roof, mirrors, and stripes and black wheels. Absolutely love how it turned out.

I'm biased, but more BRG is always better in my book. Plus vinyl wrap is fairly cheap if you ever want to change it.

 

I was "forced" into getting all BRG when I placed my order in April, due to the delays in the paint shop. My original build had a white roof. But, after seeing a few cars now in person I think I made the better choice. BRG is a lovely color, so why not get as much of it as you can? Plus, like many others have stated, a vinyl wrap is a temporary solution if you ever want to give each color combo a try.

 

I guess I'm the outlier here. I'm going with BRG with black roof and black bonnet stripes.

I've debated if I made the right choice, but with production scheduled to finish in two days, no changes now

 

If and when I get my next MINI it will be special ordered. It will be BRG with white roof, mirrors, stripes on bonnet and boot.

 

My 2012 Justa is all BRG. I ordered it that way because I love the BRG and I wanted something that wasn't too flashy. It really shines up nice when I wax it.

Crazy Mini, VicSkimmr, Bluvw69 would you post some pics of your all BRG minis? It sure is a classy combination! The only problem I have is that here in Europe Mini Ones have body color roofs, so a more common combination than in the US.

And aafflyer I don't know when your car is coming, but you are not alone thinking on going with a black roof , please share some pics when your car is finally yours!

 

A contrasting color roof is one of the MINI characteristics. Not much contrast between BRG and black.

 

Black. That way the roof, mirrors, tires, and A and C pillars all match, plus/minus stripes. The body color roofs don't look good in any color IMO.

 

The white top with silver wheels go nicely. I had to go with a black roof with black wheels and black stripes. Next on my list is window tint to darken it up even more.

I prefer the black with BRG. Personal choice really, white looks fine too.

 

Just picked it up this morning So glad I went all BRG.

 

White roof = silver wheels
Black roof = black wheels
Body color = your choice of wheels

Don't **** it up! lol

 

^^^ I have to agree. Everyone does, though, have their personal preferences. Love your MINI S by the way.

I also think the base Justa looks better with no stripes and with body colored roof.

the wive's will be BRG with white roof, mirrors, and stripes. silver 15" wheels.

the black looks nice on some cars, but i like how the white pops and i think it'll be easier to keep looking nice. I hate how hard it is to keep black clean and swirl free.

keep posting pictures, please! makes me so much more excited to get ours!

It's easier to keep clean, don't have to worry about swirl marks.
It's cooler in hot weather.
It's opposite on the color wheel from BRG, so it really pops.

That's my two cents.

 

White roof is more classic but the full BRG is elegant and looks fantastic. Nice cars everyone. I'm torn between the two. Decision time next week. Wife actually likes the DBM color!
