24 hours without driving her, but the calipers look great!
Using G2 Brake Caliper Paint System Kit found on Amazon around $40, I painted my calipers blue. I think it makes a subtle statement.
Read the fine print, you have to let the paint dry of 24 hours prior to use and that was the hardest part. Using one floor jack and a set of jack stands, I pulled the wheels off and cleaned the calipers using the supplied brake cleaner and a small wire brush. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co.../IMG_09232.JPG https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...m/IMG_0926.JPG https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...m/IMG_0932.JPG |
Excellent, especially since blue isn't usually seen down there (we all know what red and yellow mean!)

Very nice job. The blue looks good with the black paint.
Now.......wash those dirty wheels. LOL. |
Looks great. I'm planning to do mine the same colour using the same product to set off my new wheels. Was one kit enough for all four?
