I didn't get the storage package but they gave me the rubber boot mat that fits boots equipped with the option. So the first project I did was to just cut and attach a sturdy material to the underside of it and use it as the floor with a decent size storage space underneath. I'm pretty happy with the result. And it hides all of my cleaning supplies and tools.

Secondly, I installed the new Cravenspeed scissor mount. You're paying for what you get; great quality and beautiful product.

Third, I made rear seat strap pulls that clip on the back of the seats to easily pull them back up after the seats were folded down. I used 1" nylon straps and swivel clips. Sewed it all together and they work beautifully! I've ordered a bunch more clips and nylon strapping to work on different designs that involve attaching it to the rear headrests instead.

Nice setup.

It would seem you are far more talented than I.

I really like the boot mat idea. I didn't get the storage package either, but would like to incorporate the boot mat to create a flatter surface. It looks like you used a black piece of plastic for the hard surface, but what was it originally?

It was a piece of paneling I found at Lowe's that was durable. I placed the boot mat on top and traced an outline. Handsaw to cut it. Then black rubber spray paint (like in the infomercials). Gorilla glue to secure it.

Dang Dude. I'd get on the sewing machine and go to market with those seat pulls! I'd buy a set from you. I bet a bunch of other folks would too. Very Very nice.

I'm still testing them out. Where I've attached them, there isn't the best support on the seat. I think the headrest ones would be best overtime. I'll let you know when I've got those complete! Hopefully this week when my eBay orders comes in.

Seat Pulls...

I'm going the poor man's route: Using an old pair of looped hockey skate laces knotted to the back of the rear seat tie down loops.

But those look much better, DeepBonnet!

What color was the paneling piece from Lowes originally?
Any photo or link to this piece?
I'd like to get one and start the project!
