Okay, dealer called me already. Good news is they are willing to take my trade in now and give me a loaner until a new car is ready for me. Meeting with them tomorrow to get the ball rolling.

 

Sorry to read that. Mine, in 2012, fell off the boat during unloading at the port and got crushed.

 

That's horrible. I was at a dealer in AZ yesterday trying to "hijack" a shipped car to California that had what I want. Well the car got bought a day or two prior. He said new orders were probably 2-3 months wait. Bummer.

 

Got another call. They found my car with every single option available (I left off a few things I felt I didn't need but I'll gladly take) and are willing to give it to me for my price would be another savings of $2000. So this is all working in my favor now. Luckily.

I know it. Just waiting to hear back from them. They were just clearing it with MINI USA.

Sorry to hear this news, but in the end you will probably be happier. You also have a second shot at the options you want, including the shift to Moonwalk Gray.

I'm super excited for you man, this will be the longest week for you ever I bet :D You will be in pure Mini heaven come Saturday though. And I would also say rest assured you will be happy with the addition of the DDC to your ride, I certainly find it makes a noticeable difference as others mentioned in that thread. It's a great feature that really adds to the diversity of this new platform.

 

That's great! I almost cried when I watched the video with all those poor burned up MINIs. I'm so glad it worked out well!

 

The pictures don't do the moonwalk grey any justice-- it's spectacular in person. And I don't even like grey cars!
