I recall this being asked in a post about a month ago. There wasn't a definitive answer. I was hoping before placing the order (dealer is 3hrs away) someone may have some clarification on adaptive cruise. Each dealership I spoke to has come back with different responses. Most are showing that adaptive cruise is NOT available as an option. However, 1 dealership is saying:

The Adaptive Cruise Control is not standard, but is in the*Park Assist Package. That package is $1000, but you must also have the MINI Wired pkg which give you navigation with the XL screen $1750 and the head up display which adds $850.

Can anyone confirm? Also, the DVD option. does anyone know if this is only for music, or will it actually play movies on the center screen? The description is rather vauge.
