CEL codes help please - new mini owner
hey guys! new to forums and first time owning a mini! i got it as a project from an auction and i just was playing around with a code reader as a check engine light is on in the car. Now i know that a speed sensor was damaged/disconnected so im fairly sure i know that the first code is a speed sensor related. However, every other code ive tried to search i cant seem to find an answer too. Chances are once i get the car all put together and codes reset, 90% of them will go away once everything is plugged back in. however i wouldnt mind some people chiming in and point me in the right direction just to make sure i dont miss anything. Thanks in advance guys and ill post some pictures next chance i get . Car does fire and seem to run fine, it has a bent strut so couldnt really take it around the block. But it does fire and run strongly, just has the codes up for w.e reason .
CEL codes - P15B9 - Speed sensor
P327E

P327E: The 'P' is power train. P32XX codes are manufacturer controlled DTCs. You need access to a Mini OBD2 reference to know what error is associated with this code.
C0509: The 'C' refers to chassis. C08B to C0FFF are ISO/SAE reserved.
C120C: C1XXX codes are manufacturer controlled DTCs.
I would hazard a guess there is some damage to some of the wiring harnesses in the car. Either the wiring harness or one or more sensors connected to the wiring harness, or both. 'C' error codes (chassis) further suggest the damage is probably related to something like sensors used for stability or traction control, YAW, the stability control, ABS, even tire pressure monitoring, something other than sensors used by the engine.
You need to get access to what Mini (BMW?) has defined for the manufacturer controlled DTCs. Not sure what's up with the apparent use of an ISO/SAE reserved DTC.
