Hi.
I was putting my winter wheels on and one of the bolt holes in the rear wheel has been cross threaded. I don't know how or why as I have done this every year for the last 2 decades.
So I guess I will have to get the rear hub replaced, correct?
Is the hub and the wheel bearing one unit?
How much do the mechanics charge?

Depends if it was fully threaded in. If it has only started to cross-thread you might be able to chase the threads with a tap and get a new bolt.

Otherwise, yes, new hub :/
