Ordering a JCW Clubman

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and wanted to order a JCW Clubman. Is now a good time to order one? I spoke to three dealers and two of them are saying the car will be a 2023. However one is saying it’ll be a 2022 if I order before February. I also want to make sure I get the H/K Audio System. And how quiet is the interior on the JCW?

The sooner you order, the sooner you'll get it! At this point, it will most likely be a 2023, as the cutover is in March. We have a 2019 JCW Clubman and it's a fantastic car. I think it's plenty quiet, especially if you turn off the fake piped in engine noise.

Thank you. Would the spec be based off a 2022? How would I know pricing for a 2023 if I place a order in a couple weeks? And what do you think of the JCW brakes?

I think it'll be just like mine a 2020. Plenty quiet in the 2 modes other than Sport (louder exhaust). It's fast as all getout. Plenty of room too. I've had 3 Minis this is the best. You will probably pay sticker this year, mine was about 10% off but that was in April 2020.

Yeah things will be a little dicey since the full options and pricing guide isn't out yet for next model year. It should be mostly the same as 2022 for options, but they may make tweaks. Pricing is anyone's guess in this economy.

The JCW brakes have great stopping power for sure, but sometimes I think maybe I'd prefer 17" wheels so I would worry less about curbing the wheels. There's so little rubber sticking out, but maybe a little caution isn't such a bad thing.

The Clubman is such a great car, and it's baffling to me that it sells so poorly. The rumor mill suggests that they're going to discontinue it for the next generation, and if that turns out to be true, I hope they give enough notice so we can order another one.

I think they won't have a Gen4 Clubman. They don't sell that many compared to the Countryman, it's not all that much different either. Personally I like the profile and rear doors though. And whether or not they'll have a 305 HP JCW Gen4 Countryman is anyone's guess too.

gsingh I am pretty much in the same boat as you are. I also will be ordering a JCW clubman. I plan on calling several dealers and seeing if I can get a discount off MSRP. Also be aware if you may qualify for Military discount or loyalty discount. I would appreciate you letting me know how the negotiations go as I am not apposed to travel if the price is right. Currently my closest dealer is a four hour round trip.
Thanks, Steve
