Fk'n New Guy

New guy here. :)

I just bought a '18 JCW for my wife and I pick it up on Friday

Welcome and why are you not driving it??? :D

Thanks!

This is the car that she wanted and insisted on a 6MT. Long story short, my wife has undergone 2 major surgeries over the past years, one nearly terminating her. She needed a win.

FWIW, I sold my e46 that I loved and have been driving a S/C Tacoma 4x4 since 2015. Although, after my 17yo daughters X3 got totaled, it looks like I'm being pushed to the mom car, so she can have the Tacoma for runs to the golf course.
At least the AWD Durango is a 5.7l...

Nice win for your wife. I hope she’s well, she will certainly enjoy it. I had an e46 back in the day as well, LOVED that car. I got a mini as my loaner all the time and have been hooked since.

Pickups are great if you need to haul stuff or need to make friends hauling their stuff…I think you may enjoy your mom car :) almost as much as making your wife smile.

I never owned a truck while I was in the Army, but bought one a few years after retirement. The 4x4 Tacoma is perfect for me and the blower, headers and custom y-pipe make it worth driving.

In a year or so, I may trade the Durango in for a Grand Cherokee SRT, but who knows.

I picked it up yesterday and drove it down from Chicago. Awesome car!!
