Clubman JCW 19” and adaptive suspention

Hi. I’m thinking about changeing my R56 JCW to new Clubman JCW
I was checking configurations (EU) and there is no option to take 19” wheels and adaptive suspention.
I have 2 quastions maybe someone can halo me
1st, is it posible to use 19” when there is AS or is there some technical issue and it can damege something?
2nd Is AS worth money?

I don't know why they chose not to offer 19" with AS to the Clubman, but the same goes for the BMW 135i. You can however option the Countryman and the X2 35i with 19" and AS.
It is definitely worth it for me, the hard setting is a bit too much for normal highway driving, while I wouldn't want 19" anyway. Too risky either with or without RFTs (which I hate).

Countryman isn’t for me I tested both for longer time. Wrong sound, you hear more from speakers then from engine and exhous also after changinf from r56 seat is to high 😂 So probably I will stay on 18” and AS, sad cos those 19” looks greate.

I love the adaptive suspension. I use the Sport mode most of the time but the Mid (softer) mode is great on rougher roads and even on the highway. Also the Mid mode closes off the left exhaust sound so it's quieter in the cabin. I rarely use the Eco mode.

My understanding is that 19inch wheels do not physically fit with the Adaptive Damper Control option in a Clubman. I wouldn't want to trade away Adaptive Dampers for bigger tyres - I have had ADC for over 2 years now and it makes long drives a pleasure. Turn it up for twisty roads, turn it down for long distance cruising. I know some Clubman owners with Sport Suspension and 19inch wheels really loath the stiffness on long drives. But each to their own.

I have both ! I bought my All4 S in Feb of this year, has the Sport Package (Dynamic Dampers) and previous owner added the 19" JCW wheels at Seattle MINI.
I also added non-RFT 235/35/19's when I added a Spare Tire - here

I have a 2020 JCW Clubman that I ordered with Iconic package and 19 inch tires. Do I have active suspension?

If there's wiring on top of the shocks in the engine bay, you do.

My understanding is that the 19" wheels physically don't fit with the adaptive suspension on the Clubman and 1-series. I always wondered if it was for engineering reasons and when the 1-series was released, that was confirmed in a few of the reports.

Some aftermarket wheels with a different offset may fit I presuem.

I'm very happy with the 18s and adaptive suspension. Firm but comfortable for casual driving, quite stiff (but less stiff than the hatch) in sports mode for tight, twisty roads. For more open, sweeping roads, comfort mode suspension and sports engine works brilliantly well. MINI made an unusual decision with the suspension tuning, where the initial movement is very firm but after that it's relatively soft. So on fast sweepers you get responsive turn-in but then good compliance over bumps or whatever - it works really well.

(An unrelated tip: drive it as a paddle-shift manual with left-foot braking and it makes for a great performance car.)
