B38 or B36

A little help please, I'm curious
Does anyone know a surefire way to know it the motor in my car is a B38 or a B36.
Ran the VIN in a few sites, inconclusive...some even list the motor as 4 cylinder...some have the car built in Oxford, others in Born.
Are there any markings or clues on the motor, or can any anyone tell me of a good VIN decoder.
The reason I'm asking: I want to install a Dinan Elite Tuner, many on sale in the Marketplace, however Dinan clearly sates on their site that the tuner cannot be used on B36 motor. At the same time my car: a 2016 Base Clubman is listed as a candidate, even though at least one VIN decoder site tells me the motor code is B36M.

Thanks.

Probably the B36, but you could take a look at the sensor connections and compare. One of them is the difference between the versions.
