Fuel door latch fell off

Opened the fuel door and the little spring latch fell off. It looks like it attaches from the other side ... anyone know how to replace it?

I assume the other F-series are the same, but in case it matters, it's a '16 Clubman S.

Well, I got the car home in the garage and took a closer look. Although I think what you're supposed to do is pop the body-color fuel door off of the black hinged frame, and then use a large torx to screw the pin in from the back, I couldn't quite figure out how to do that. There's a slot at about 2:00 that looks like a good pry spot, but I was afraid I would break something.

I found that if I put the pin in from the front, it would turn about 1/8 of a turn CCW and then stay there. But I think it's not really all the way attached (it detaches way too easily), so any further pointers would be welcome.

Yes, but if it's trivial I'd rather just fix it and not take the time.
