My '16 Clubman has LED headlights but with silver/grey trim inside the housing as opposed to others that have black (which I prefer)? Anyone know about why some LEDs have the internal accents in black?

The Clubman can come with (3) headlight variations.

1.) Halogen
2.) LED
3.) LED with cornering lights

The LED with cornering light modules have an anthracite (dark grey/black) housing inside.

Always wondered why the color of my lights were different on F56 vs our F55, didn't bother to research it. Thanks.

 

Any idea as to where/how easiest and least expensive way to replace my LEDs with the cornering option? Yes I really do want the stealth look of the blackened internals and have zero skill in removing the lens cover and painting them...
