F54 Forgoing TPMS?

Forgoing TPMS?
I'm switching to a separate set of wheels/tires for the winter this year and considering going without TPMS sensors.
Anyone know what the warning is like on an F54 when no TPMS is present? Does it just chime each time you start the car and illuminate a light? I don't imagine it warns you constantly when driving or not that I've heard. That said, I only seem to be able to find threads about not having TPMS on 2nd gen MINIs.

OE was 205/55/16s. Just upgraded to 225/40/18 on 18x7.5 non RFs. No tpms. No buzzers or any other noises. When you engage the starter message comes on the screen (smaller unit on my '16 non S) saying tpms is inoperative. Tap the controller and message goes away. Then there is another message, tap controller again and the only sign which remains and does not go away is the tire icon in the speedo display. Doesn't bother me but some might be put off by the little light.
