Now that it's July, winter shoes?

Anyone seen/heard any forward motion, on Tire Rack, wrt wheels on the new clubman?

I've had a lot of luck with Tire Rack in the past, for my 2009 clubbie. Now that I've had my new car a few months, I figure, and now that it's July, I should think about winter tires/wheels for my 2017. Seems they don't have any wheels on their list for my car. :(

(mine is a: 2017 MINI John Cooper Works Clubman ALL4 18" wheels RF)
Failing Tire rack, what do people like for winter tire/wheel combo?

I've stalking the same thing for my 17 Clubman S ALL4.

I've been mainly looking at Tirerack as well. It looked like there are definitely 17's for the JCW as well as the S on there. I'm not familiar with what you mentioned in regard to "wrt" wheels.

Side note, I've personally been eyeing up Michelin X-Ice tires which for the 17's are only $505 for (4) tires after the $70 mail in rebate good until July 16th.

I'm still deciding on which rims to get from there though, I want something decent but also not looking to dump a ton of money into a winter wheel.

Sorry wrt -- with respect to

I had the Blizzak tires on my 2009, with fairly inexpensive (i.e. on sale) wheels, and was very happy with them. I've been seeing some talk about not getting the exact same size tire as the summer, for a winter, and haven't really had a chance to look into it yet. But I've been running runflats for both.

If you enter in the model of your car in Tirerack.com and then choose winter and tire package, they should list out the alternate sizes that will fit.

RFT snows you should have a few options but likely a good bit pricer.

No, that's the problem, they have no wheels at all, so no packages.

Not seeing the same issue. Lots of wheels.

Mine is a 2017, but possibly an issue with their system, when I try
2017 MINI Clubman With Runflat John Cooper Works
I get
We found (201) wheels for:
but when I try (my original search)
2017 MINI John Cooper Works With Runflat Clubman
It gets zero results.
:(

My understanding is that is not true for JCW models

Or, you could join about 20 million other recent arrivals and chuck this whole winter thing and move to California where when it falls below 60 degrees F we start sacrificing animals and burning incense to appease the angry gods.

We did get a bit of rain this winter and some actually changed out their summer tires and put all season tires on their cars

Bleh, I actually LIKE seasons.
I lived in the Sacramento area for about 5 years, not my preferred climate.
