Loose hose near lower engine mount (2017 Clubman S All4)

Can someone identify this hose and how it should be connected? I'm replacing my engine mounts and the engine is sagging, so this might just be over stretched. Thanks

If you watch youtube videos on how people replace or upgrade the Engine lower mount , you will see that all the cars look identical to your pictures , looks like this protection / heat resistant tube either shifts with time or shrinks a bit .
