AMOK, Italy

Just wondering if AMOK is still active around Aviano... I see the a few of the stickers around but nothing more. Just curious.:sly:

Ditto.

I had a guy (American) in an original MINI approach me in 2005. Since then, I've seen and heard nothing.

Hmmmm

"F" it then. Since either they don't do NAM anymore, or it's fallen apart... RESTART!!!

I love the car, even though I don't have mine yet, and need an excuse to go driving around Northern Italy once it gets here. And I hate doing things by myself!
Plus it's my last summer in Italy and I'm jealous of the Army guys in Germany!

I cannot say I've enjoyed an automobile more than the MINI.

I could probably actually participate in an owner's club come AUG or SEPT, when both kids will be in pre-school for a few hours a few days a week. ;)

I've taken mine to Piancavallo a couple times and also took it to World Cup last year via Cortina d'Ampezzo. SS51 is recommended driving.

EDIT IN:

Here lies the answer to our question: http://www.mini2.com/forum/europe/13...mini-club.html

I've done the SS51 drive in my "other" car. I plan on taking that route on a trip to Germany this summer, but that sounds good for a day trip with a bunch of us.
