I was unfortunate enough to break off my antenna over the weekend and it appears to have snapped the rubber surrounding the wiring that goes into the body of the car. Given this, it appears that I will need to replace the cable that runs inside of the car. Has anyone explored where this wire goes to know what panels to remove in order to expose it? Alternatively for those that have installed a XM radio in their car what changes where necessary to install the XM antenna? I'd like to add XM to my MCS and, obviously, don't want to duplicate effort in fixing the stock antenna if I'll be moving to XM. Thanks for your help!

Mark,
... there is a picture of a car with no headliner in this thread:

... but the cable plugs into a little rectangular module just under the roof panel - not to the antenna itself ...

oh, and the XM reception is good (from the reports i've read) with the standard Shark Fin antenna - but then you need to figure out something else for the am/fm part ...

I actually broke it off between the antenna and the rectangular module. Guess I need to drop the rear headliner enough to be able to pull out the module so that I can disconnect the plug and replace the module.

Thanks!
