I'm planning on changing my head unit. I would like to use a wiring harness if possible (don't want to deal with splicing).

Are there any available?

Where can I get it?

I think this is the one that people are recommending.

Is this in fact the one that works?

wiring harness

yes that ones works (cofirmed by another member), the colors do not match aftermarket head units and it's missing the remote-turn on wire, but it works.

all those above things can be avoided by buying a wiring harness from the UK.

The remote power wire is the White one. Just strip off a little insulation and solder a lead on and run it to your amp or other device that requires a remote power line. It is important to differentiate this from the power antenna lead as the introduction of a cd into the head unit may switch off the power as the head thinks it doesn't need an antenna for that activity.

I've used the white wire and it is correctly driving my amp.

BTW, thanks for the harness link!
