Any coding guide up-to-date with Windows 10?

Has anyone learned how to use ncsexpert with a Windows 10 laptop in the last couple of years? If so, can you post a link to the guide you used which was successful?

I've tried one or two of the coding guides posted here on NAM, and at least one from bimmerforums. So far I haven't been able to successfully run the software and communicate with the vehicle. I can get a connection recognized in INPA, but either get compatibility errors, or software crashes.

These guides are kind of patchworked together as the years have gone on. It's straining to try and both learn how to operate the program, and troubleshoot the guide as an ignorant person. I'd like a step-by-step that works; I don't feel confident with my own work-arounds when the risk is so high. It's that problem where you're too ignorant about something to know what good information is.

I'd just like to change basic things like turning off TPMS & changing all the doors to unlock, etc.
