Comfort blinker for R53

Has anyone ever added a comfort blinker to their Mini? This is common on VW's where you tap the turn signal stalk and it blinks three times to change lanes.
I have this on my newer Volkswagens and there is a relay kit to add it to older ones, I was just wondering if there was something out there for my Mini before I go modifying a VW one to fit.

You can/could have this as a factory option in European markets. You may be able to convince a dealer to turn it on here in the states... more than likely for a fee.

I scrutinized all the available settings in the BCM and I didn't see this. Is this really a European optional setting? May be I just dismiss it as another automation I don't care to have, as very often it take me much longer to perform a safe lane change. I am very used to just lightly touching the turn signal stalk hold it for the exact on and off timing.

If I don't feel safe in a lane change I will give ample blinking before I slowly change the lane.

From memory of the old MINI Owners Lounge forums, there was someone talking about getting it set up this way - a Euro delivery for the US market. Maybe you can't. I suppose it is possible to have different BCM's programs for the different markets.

It’s not a must have I am just used to having it there. Although now that I drive the Mini so much I forget that I had it
