Countryman Trailer wiring - Modulite Tow Ready

Has anyone used a modulate tow ready wiring adapter? I have one and cannot figure out the breaks. I used the how-to and was able to get most of the system in place, except for the breaks. I ground the break wire, powered the break wire. Tested pretty much every wire in back and got nothing when the breaks are applied.

What am I missing?

I made this annotated diagram of the wires going into the rear left (driver's side) light cluster:

While I suspect the original poster has long since moved on, I found this information while cross-checking the Countryman wiring diagrams at www.newtis.info. Add in a right turn signal from the opposite side and I think you'll have everything you need to fully light a trailer.

Hope this helps someone!
