success !! did it !
Success!! ...Did it! ......i was able to follow the wire from the fuel door actuator to access it at an easier place .....if you look at the wires at the rear tail light, coming down from above the assembly, there is one separate cable with a black wire and a blue wire coming down vertically against the back of the car.....the two wires are wrapped in a black cloth-like wrapping ......i first tapped into the blue wire for a positive connection...for the ground just below that is the 5 wire plug that goes into the tail light and the middle wire, brown, is the ground and i tapped into that. I bought a piezo buzzer 12V / 58 ma /100 db at my local Radio Shack which unfortunately ( fortunately for me though) is closing so the buzzer was 80% off so it cost me only about $3.50 ...!
it worked ...BUT ...opposite of what i wanted .....oops ...the buzzer beeps when you unlock the car ....( not as important to me but then again i may go back and get another buzzer to beep for unlocking ) ...... so then I simply disconnected from the blue and stripped the black wire and tapped into that ...success ...the car will beep only when the car is off and closed and then you lock it with the FOB....it does not beep if you are in the car and lock it manually or if you drive off and the car " auto-locks" at 11mph ......
I simply ( with some added length wires) sticky velcro'd the buzzer so it is sitting on a little shelf-like area down below the tail light. The buzzer is noticeable and loud enough, though it could be louder but you can definitely hear it lock now ......loud enough and won't disturb the neighbors

hi ...here's a photo but might be kinda hard to picture this but to orient you can see the round piezo buzzer sitting way at the bottom which had 2 short red wires but i spliced on to it 2 white wires ....one white goes up to the thin cable you are look for .....if you look right above the passenger side rear tail light wiring harness there's a black thin cable that is really a black and a blue wire wrapped is black fabric ...this cable come down vertically from above the tail light and is separate from the bigger bundle of wires that comes down too ( which have a couple of browns and a couple of yellows and a bunch of other wires), but the cable you are looking for will be coming down vertically separately and more towards the outside and a bit behind the bigger thicker cable, and eventually gets connected into the bigger bundle ..... i tapped into the black wire that is in the thin cable for power and the for ground if you look at the plug that goes into the tail light there are 5 wires and the other white wire from the buzzer gets tapped into that.......hope this is somewhat helpful!
DANG //the photo got cropped ....the buzzer is out of the photo at the very bottom but you can see the 2 white wires coming up ....the cable you are looking for is ( unfortunately) out of focus at the very top of the photo ...if you follow that this cable along you can see it gets connected to the thick bundle above the tail light
5 wires and the middle wire is brown which is the ground
wiring of buzzer upon locking
