How to install 05-06 Xenons in 05-06 MINI w/out Xenons?
 

Yes yes, I've searched the forums already, it may be too buried or the subject is rather hard to find.

What does it take to install 05-06 OEM Xenon headlights into a 05-06 MINI with regular halogen lights? Is it just plug and play? Is the ballast built into the 05-06 headlights? Or does it need to be completely rewired and then reprogrammed?

First-gen are single xenon (hi-beams are halogen).

Bi-xenon only exists in r56. That may have affected your search.
