Windshield Washer's not working

I've got a '07 MCS with 38K miles on it and the windshield washers have quit working. I have the heated washers with the cold weather package. Has anyone else had a problem with their washers that could shed some light on this problem for me. Thanks in advance....

Most likely the pump has seized or stopped working. If you are under warranty I would take it to the dealer, if not, I would first go out check to make sure you have fluid, and then check all the fuses. Then have a helper pull the stalk for you while listening to the pump to see if it is humming or doing nothing at all. If it sounds like it is running without struggling, make sure you don't have a hose disconnected or broken somewhere. If you determine that the pump is bad, go to realoem.com to find your pump part number (it will be one of two depending if you have the headlight washers or not), then order it from parts.com or another BMW Group part supplier.

strobeyprobey: You were right, washer pump was shot, dealer ordered the part, it will be covered under warranty. I'm glad it happened now as the warranty runs out next April. I'm guessing the pump isn't one of those Autozone universal types for $15!
