Bypassing Clockspring for Remote Mount Cruise Control Buttons

I'm trying to move my cruise buttons cue to a Sparco wheel install. I need to bypass the clock spring in order to mount them somewhere other than the steering wheel. I'm having a hard time with these diagrams from Alldata. They dont appear to be totally accurate, so I was hoping someone could help out with this process. I have compliled all the images into one diagram that is color coded to help make things simpler.

The wires from the left control pad, pin 1,2 and 3 on connector X01000 match up with pins 8, 2 and 9 respectively on connector X10195. (thats the connector on the other side of the clock spring, where I will be bypassing the wiring)

Pin 5 from the left control pad connector X01000 does not properly correspond on my chart from MotorAlldata. I have pin 5 on the left control pad, which is a yellow wire, going to pin 3 on connector X01003 (the connector on the clock spring itself) but pin 3 on the harness that connect the left control pad to the clock spring is green.

Am I seeing things or is my diagram improperly labeled?

:no::eek:

I've had trouble understanding these German wiring diagrams ever since they started using them in the late 70's / early 80's, why the hell can't they do a simple "from here to there" diagram?..........did you get it sorted out?

Good luck and sorry I can't help............

I'm not sure if its possible to do with the 02-04 cruise.

I'm running into a lot of unusual problems with the setup I have right now. Wires dead ending that make no sense and such. I'm starting to thing the clockspring may have something vital inside of it thats not listed on the wiring diagrams. I might just have to figure out a way to mount the controls right on the wheel...
