MSD Coils Don't Use Stock Coil Bolts?

I did a quick search and came across people saying they had issues with the (4) stock coil bolts not fitting with the MSD coil. I've gone to just about every hardware store and car shop I can think of trying to find bolts that will fit the MSD but no luck. Is there any place specific one can go to get these? Anyplace online or just a part number for a place like PepBoys or AutoZone would be great? Just trying keep the under-the-hood red theme going and would like to get this installed. :-) Thanks in advance!!

You can remove the sleeve on the stock bolts but a better way is go to an ACE or OCSH hardware get a metric thread stock and some nice stainless crown head nuts and washers. Using a hack saw cut to length 4 new studs. Chase them with a nut to clean up the treads. Install the studs install the coils place a washer and then the crown nut. Very custom and better looking then the oem bolts.

Thanks much. I like your idea of the 'custom' setup... I will probably go with that one. Just for my knowledge how do you get the sleeve off of the bolt? Bang the heck out of it or does it back itself out by unscrew it through the sleeve?

all you have to do is drill out the metal sleeves on the msd.. 30mins and I was done. the stock bolts fit right in.
