Driving and fog light wiring (Hella 500)

Cleaning up and legalizing the wiring of my lights,

2 Hella 500 Driving lights (Supply from High Beam)
2 Hella 500 Fog lights (Supply from low beam)

What do I need to adjust from the standard independent wiring so that when the highs come on the fogs shut off?

If you tap your fog relay trigger into the low beam hot lead, the lows/fogs will shut off when you switch to high/driving.
(that is... if the driving light relay trigger is tapped into the high beam hot lead)
I'm tapped into the parking light circuit so I can run high/low/parking...

That's how I set it up initially, and the fogs will stay on with the highs still as the MINI adds the high beams instead of alternating the fogs and lows remain lit.

I need to set it up so the fogs will shut off on their own when I hit the high beams in order to be legal in my state.

Was there ever an answer to this question? We just added a PU light bar with Hella 500 fogs (amber) and driving lights. Initial installation was basic: two toggle switches for on/off (driving / fog). I want to tie the driving lights in to the high beam circuit, so that they only stay on when high beams are on (ie, so they're legal).

Thoughts/instructions? Thanks for any help!

You need to tap your "relay on" pin to the high beam wire at the headlight. Not sure what the color is, but should be fairly simple to figure out. It's not brown.

Tap right into the white wire that goes directly to the high beam light. You need to remove the dust cover first.

But that fails to shut off aftermarket fogs when the highs come on

I want to do something similar, except all the lights i have hooked up are factory. I want the fogs to stay on if I hit the highs, (so all 6 lights will be on, lows, highs, fogs). I figured you just jumped a wire that controls the fog lights, but i'm not sure which wires they are. Any ideas?

Ref my post from a while back. I have since changed the fog trigger from the low beams to the parking lights. Any questions drop me a line
