Cruise control default to "on "?

I know I can get a module to get the "sport" mode to stay on all the time. Is it possible to do the same thing with "cruise"? I've had several cars in the past where the cruise stayed on all the time unless you made a conscious effort to turn it off and would prefer to have my Mini do the same thing.
