I Am Losing It
What I am losing is my ability to use a manual transmission. With the huge shoes I need to wear now, the clutch pedal and the foot rest share the same space, and every shift is an unwelcome challenge.
I hope to remain a MINIac, but Molly2 (my 2011 LCI MCSm) can't be my ride. If any EIM-er is interested in buying Molly2, please let me know. She is in very good shape. At 34,000 miles, she is averaging 35.1 MPG, has used about a quart of oil in the last 5,000 miles. Turbo engine, 6-speed manual, heated leather/cloth seats, Harmon-Kardan audio, sport suspension, traction control, xenon headlights, anthracite headliner. Non-runflat all-weather tires only a few months old. |
There are always people up here in CR that ask me about my car and are interested in buying a MINI. The next person to ask I can let them know about yours. What price are you selling Molly2 for?

I realized I was loosing it when I owned my last car which was a '13 FR-S 6 speed manual. All the various functions no longer were intuitive and required more thought to perform with precision. I sold the FR-S and bought my '13 base hardtop with an automatic. Now my driving is more laid back and 'smell the roses'. It's a pleasant experience I totally enjoy.

Thats tough mate, hope you find a car to replace it that will give you as much joy as Molly2 has! I had an 07 convertible with the automatic and moving it into sport was fun albeit nothing like having a clutch.
