HI all! I've been really looking forward to meeting you, but haven't been able to make the drives, and the rescheduled date in February fell when I was out of town. Would anyone be interested in having a get together for dinner in the Iowa City/CR/QC area sometime?

 

I haven't made any recent get-togethers, either, because of health issues in my case. But the neck brace is coming off soon, and food always sounds good (he says, patting his fat belly), and I'm in Coralville

With the Stampede to the Black Hills coming up in a couple of weeks, I suggest you look towards later on in May or early June as a target date in order to maximize participation. Also, probably stating the obvious here but if you choose a weekend day it's more likely that folks would be willing to drive a greater distance to join in.

Yeah I'm in the same boat, I work most Saturdays as I am in the car business. Then on my free saturdays I usually come in to work anyway to use the hoist for any work I may want to do on the MINI (which is almost every time). Plus helping my fiancée plan our wedding takes away free time too. So hopefully later this year I'll be able to join!

 

We are in Iowa City and are always willing to get together whether on weekend or not. Maybe a Friday night?
