Holy Cross Parade

I would like to invite all MINIS to the Holy Cross Parade on Saturday August 13th. This is in conjunction with Holy Cross Days. There is the parade, an auction benefitting the Holy Cross Fire Department, a street dance with a live band, bouncy houses for the kids and a barbecue. It is a very informal parade so we don't need any pre-registration.

We need to line up about 11:00. Prior to that we will have a clean-up spot with a hose in my drive-way (956 Main Street) and/or my next door neighbor's driveway. If the street in front of my house as you come into town is closed just drive around the block and you will be able to get there.

All are invited to my house afterwards for beverages, food and conversation. We have lawn games like bean bag toss and the ladder game. Tom & I supply beverages and the best darn broasted chicken in the county from our local bar & grill. If you would like to bring a side or snack to share it is appreciated but not neccessary. I am notorious for having too much food  I have a special MINI themed dessert planned

Thanks for starting this thread Linda. This get-together is always a favorite.

I'm posting the link here to the Event Calendar entry...

...where you can click on the sign-up link. I'm certain that Linda and Tom would appreciate having an idea of the numbers.

Feel free to bring candy to toss to the kids during the parade. :)

A teensy correction in the time line: Parade is at noon and lasts approximately 1 hour. Chow time immediately after:)

Sounds delicious BUT I will be doing an "Extreme Clean-Up" of a local stream with the Cub Scouts.
No, we will not come to your house and clean up either.

Early parade time was working for me but late won't work out. Pam has relatives coming from all directions for a family reunion and several are staying with us. Guess I have to be a good husband and be here. Sorry that we can't join you. We'll miss the parade for the first time since we started. :(

Once again, Tom and Linda threw a fabulous Parade Party! Our group was small, but very mighty. Mighty nice!

Sorry we missed the Parade... Pictures look great! Dessert was a neat idea Linda! We had 36 people in the (Pam's family) reunion. Tuckered out this morning.
