It's a long drive to Eldon from Holy Cross and Decorah...but yeah, it just doesn't seem like a proper Iowa MINI event without having GOZER in the mix.

Very, VERY true!

 

When you read the line in the Pie Lady's blog that says "They even took a picture of my brand new oven as if, by virtue of simply being in the kitchen of the American Gothic House, it was a celebrity!" the photographer of the oven would be................ yours truly

 

After seeing all the great pictures I am REALLY regretting not going. I have never been to the American Gothic House I shall have to put that on my bucket list.
