It's Official!
 

Yesterday in the mail I received an invite to attend the annual preview event at Willis Auto Campus. In side the invite was a special invitation for MINI owners to come get a preview of the new building and dealership while it is under construction!

In the invite it stated that the dealership will be located at the old Saturn Dealership which has the highest visibility of all the Willis dealerships. Also in the invite they stated that the dealership will open in December. So Iowa will finally have it's very own MINI dealership!

Oct 19th, I believe; and they're planning to have a few of the new model year MINIs available for tire-kicking. I wonder where my personal invite is... :sad:

I'm quite surprised they are projecting a December opening. Much work to be done to the infrastructure between now and then. Plus, I can't imagine the MINIs will be flying off the showroom floor in the dead of winter (unless they are AWD Countrymen :razz:).

I have yet to get my invite as well, slackers!

October 19th!? A Tuesday? Really? Puppy poop! No way I can go to Des Moines on a weekday.:sad:

Yeah...I checked my mail today and nothing. I was a little surprised too since I've been there twice in the past month. Oh well, I'm still gonna head on over since it'll be no classes that day.
