Here's a really nice Doppler radar image showing the wind field (green shows winds toward the QC radar site, red shows wind going away) and the telltale signature of the F1 tornado--the bright red and green pixels right next to each other--that passed on the northeast edge of town. I'm estimating that this image was taken about 7:40 pm.

Do the two reddish pixels to the west indicate rotation? Artifacts?

 

I strongly suspect it's just noise in the signal. You'd know for certain if the features were absent from the subsequent (or previous) sweeps of the radar. Also, they are separated from the general wind shear line that is evident along the line of storms from SW to NE--the zone where you'd expect the real "action" to be occurring.
