***Early Event Schedule Alert***

Much more info to follow, but please consider reserving Sunday, June 24th on your calendar so you can join your fellow EIM MINI mates at the Iowa Region 1 SCCA Autocross near Waterloo.

We'll be starting a planning thread here on NAM within the next few weeks, but in the meantime there is already a bushel basket full of good information available in the Event Calendar entry (<-link) for this outing. I encourage you to check it out!

If you love driving your MINI and putting it through its maneuvering paces, this is a great opportunity to let loose!

While the Occupiers were returning home I ws busy with a wash, clay bar, wax, int/ext detail. As I drove back to the Chicago area my MINI was beaming. I swear I was the brightest thing on the road.

So here's a funny little story...husband out geocaching all day, I get a call around 9:30 at night asking for a rescue...some sort of battery/alternator/?? problem with his RAV4. So I hop in the MINI with the jumper cables and head out to help. I pull up, pop the bonnet and enjoy listening to the two manly men try to figure out where the battery is in the MINI!! HA!! Poor Toyota is spending the night on Highway 30, and will receive a heart transplant in the morning.

I'm sure there is a lesson here, but the whole disabled vehicle thing is bothersome :(

So they never did manage to find the battery on your MINI? And you didn't even give them a little hint?

THe red JCW is in Des Moines , for a cam chain replacement they're installing my Swift springs too. Got a big white Countryman for a loaner.

Nice guys at Willis, Jermiah and the bunch.

I'll get the JCW back next week sometime and then get it to the graphics outfit for some graphics and a bra

Checked my oil this afternoon. My dip stick broke into 2 pieces!!!!!!!!! First step, "WTF!" Next step, "Hello, minimania.com!" Bit the bullet and bought the nice upgrade from the factory one. My baby is so worth itPlus this one is flexible alloy, it won't crack in half!
