Nope, I'm not selling....this is for the vendors. So, who's gonna be the first to offer some of these Leda suspension products? Any evaluations underway yet? Does anyone have any details about range of height adjustability or the relative spring rates offered?

[calling Randy!]
Randy has been playing with the LEDA coilovers for quite a while. Last time I talked to him, he was running 400# in front and 300# in rear (about) for auto-x; he kept his damper rates secret though!
They are a bit pricey, but definitely worth it if you want to take the next step up from, say, the H-Sport springs.
Cheers,
Ryan

I figured someone was checking them out...just hoping it would be an MCO vendor and also hoping for a few more details and a preliminary report. I checked prices as well and I guess I must be using the new math because it looks like 762 pounds to me (about $1,220). Doesn't matter though, even 1,299 is close to the KW, H&R price ballpark and the Ledas are both height and rate adjustable. The question is, do they BELONG in that ballpark or are they overpriced? The rep is good, of course, but I haven't heard from anyone who's put them through their paces on a MINI yet.....
sorry to hijack thread!

Aargh, work! Ok, I'll take some pics. That is, I'll get around to it one of these days..... Zippy's almost a year old now, guess it's time I stop spending every free daylight minute either tinkering or driving and take some time to spiff him up and take some snaps. Don't hold your breath though, I've made that promise before and never seem to feel like sacrificing my all too rare motoring time. Maybe this weekend.....?
Sorry to respond so late guys - been swamped lately!
I am working on the LEDAs, and have the rates sorted, the parts and pieces needed included, and the valving determined.
They are alightly pricier from me because of the included REQUIRED parts that don't come from LEDA, but I can also give you all of the recommended settings for every apllication.
The test units are back at LEDA for the final damping, so I won't offer them until I'm sure that will work (and I know it will), but they will be available soon.
There are two other cars besides mine now running them in SCCA, and so far the results have been good. I'll let you know how they turn out next week when the second car gets them up and running.

These are by far the best units out there in my opinion from a customizable standpoint. When you order them, each set is built for your car, and I need the corner weights from your car to maximize the unit. There are 7 different levels of LEDAs available, but I've concentrated on setting up threee. The first is a non-adjustable (other than ride height) similar to the KW V1 and the H&R and the Spax units. The second is an adjustable compression and rebound unit with 24 positoin adjustment (pictured above). The third is remote reservoir, independent compression and rebound setting, full race set up. All of the combinations (except the full race) are available as oil or gas emulsified units.
Give me a call to discuss the pricing and what is the right set-up for your car.
These are not an option for most cars out there. These are hard core units that require a lot of testing to set up correctly, and require the car to be corner balanced. For most folks the H-Sport springs are fine, and they can be combined with the Koni adjustable yellows for a pretty easy set up system that doesn't require a lot of thought.
