140030 sell for $385.00 plus freight

All systems are new in the box. I bought them for a local mini rally last month.

Thanks

how's the installation for the borla? I've heard that the rspeed installation is bolt on.. no mods to do to the car... is this the same for the borla ehaust? I'm leaning towards the rspeed since it's stealthy and gives a moderate HP gain but the price on this borla system is pretty good so I'm thinking about it as well... any thoughts? thanks. Randy, have you installed the borla on an MC yet? I know DaveinDenver has one on his S and it sounds good.....

i've got the Borla, Cooper version, and the install was straight-forward and easy ... and even getting the 'nubs' through the holes in the mounts wasn't as futzy as i was told it would be ...

the borla system is bolt on as well. It takes about 30 min to install since we have lifts in the shop. It does fit good.
Thanks

The change was instantly noticable ... yes, More power ...
... and the noise is more, but Not objectionable - more of what a MINI should sound like; it's a nice deep hum (not droning) and when cruising at speed (partial throttle) it almost goes away - til you hit the gas again! ... there is quite a diference when the rear seats are folded down though - then it sounds more like it's in the car with you (but still not loud enough for you to want to stop Motoring!)

... i'll try to get a picture soon ...

JTG: Do you still have the Borla exhausts for the S available? I think I want one for my new S which I am taking delivery of tomorrow. I am located in the Chicago area. What do you think Freight would to get it here? What sort of payment will you except? If you send me a mailing address, I would be able to send you a check. I look forward to hearing from you. You could also send me a response to my work email address: djg3@ntrs.com
Thanks in advance for your timely response.

Got mine from Jeremy yesterday, it had arrived via UPS when I got home.

Everything in the box, including a "Borla" cap. I got a great deal!

asaulo1 - just get it! You won't be sorry. I have a pic of the Borla tip posted in the gallery, but I can't find it now that the page numbers go backwards... It's really very nice looking - very substantial, not just a thin cylinder like the Magnaflow. The noise is not too loud at all, and I found that it really mellowed out after a few hundred miles.

cnrisnl - you wouldn't happen to have a sound byte of your borla would you? I saw one the other night at the Italian Job premiere on a BRG cooper and was kind of surprised to see how big the tip was... it just concerns me how it would sound... I didn't get to listen to it then as it was parked... thanks.

I actually live where this guy is located, and the price I paid including installation was $537.99 + tax (Texas). While I could have installed it myself, for the price I paid I just couldn't see rolling under the car on jackstands - their lift made it much easier for them!

It sounds awesome, IMHO. Really woke the car up nicely. I've noticed a definitely advantage at nearly all RPM levels, but once it gets to 4K, it screams to redline.

At idle, it's nice and low, barely noticeable. During normal acceleration, it's tame, still nice and deep. At cruise, there's little to no interior resonance. At WOT acceleration, you definitely know it's there, but I like that...

I'm wholly impressed. The kit fit well and looks great... It sounds nothing like the little imports running around here, but is deep, throaty, and excellent.
