I'm thinking about getting a performance meter/data acquisition device, something like G-Tech Pro RR or Apexi RSM-GP.

I have seen some of us use the G-Tech, but wondering if anyone has experience of using the RSM-GP from Apexi?

G-Tech Pro RR seems to be an excellent machine, but I like the way Apexi looks.

Any input would be highly appreciated.

Non-performance related mods

While waiting for an ok word for the JCW brake upgrade ,..... I stop by the MVA and applied for a personalize license plate (finally... ), yeah....and the one that I love is available. But.....they said it will take 8 - 10 weeks.

Also swing by Solar Solutions, had a chat with Carlos and finally made an appointment for tinting, 35% all around.

While I'm waiting for completing the brake enhancing project, I have a chance to snap couple of pictures with 35% tinted.

They are not here yet, not until late November, if I'm lucky.

BTW, I might try to make it a photo-fun day on Sept 22nd early in the morning at Hains Point.

Just got Maxi back from Towson after brought her in for clutch and flywheel injury.
Everything is back to normal, under warranty and maintenance plan.
Thank to you, Towson and crews.

Having 07 MCa for 3 days as a loaner, can't wait to be back with Maxi.

There are 2 carry out pick up areas, one on the opposite side of the road and one, that I parked, is on the same side as the restaurant (right up front). I think I parked facing the right direction though (assuming, I wasn't in London ).

For the pictures above, one was at Cheese Cake Factory, Columbia Mall. The others are at a church in Towson, Md.

Finally, this will be the last chapter of "do it my way,.. phase 1".

Actually, it has been gone beyond "the phase one' that I have planned on earlier when I first got Maxi.

Here is the list of what I have done so far.

Maxi is based on '06 RG/RG MCS, picked up on Nov 1st, 2006, came w/ sport, cold weather, premium package, S-lite w/ runflat tires and others basic goodies.

------------------------------------
Phase one, Nov 1st, '06 - Sept 8th, '07.

Engine mods

JCW intake, JCW exhaust, JCW injectors, GP JCW intercooler, JCW plugs, JCW pulley belt, JCW ECU flash, Helix spark plugs wire, Helix 15% pulley and Schrick camshaft.

Suspension, wheels, tires

JCW suspension kit, Mini Madness 22mm rear sway bar, JCW front strut tower bar. Work wheels VS-XX 18" x 7.5", Toyo Proxes T1-S 225 x 35 / 18".

The Blings

Whalen shift ****, Solar Solutions 35% tint, GominiGo license plate holder, Helix stubby antenna, Tom Tom one, Solo2 radar detector, and personalize plate "MAXICPR".

Other goodies

OEM Front center armrest, OEM boot rubber tray.

-----------------------------------

So far, Maxi runs great and fun to drive. I'm very happy with the result.
I don't know when will it be the phase 2, if any. It might be sometimes in Spring '08.

There are a few upgrades that I'll look into and to have fun with, but first will definitely be the brake upgrade, cylinder head and a fine tuning

At the time being, I will enjoy motoring as much as I can and will keep update with the pictures as often as I possibly can.....

until next time, ............. the Phase 2.
