i've read a bunch on the new cooper (used to own an old one in the early 70's) and I CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON IT!!! (Anybody want to buy a '94 NSX with 32k on it? beautiful car - 100%) all the stuff i've read here - head's spinnin'!
I need someone to guide me thru the mods: who do i deal with, what suppliers, what first: pulley, bars, springs, exhaust, etc... any help would be greatly appreciated by the VA cooper new guy... Thanks  |
Welcome to the forums! I dont know much about S mods, cause I have a Cooper, but the maganflow exhaust is a very nice system and good first mod along with an intake.

Call Randy at MINI Cooper Motorsport (mini-motorsport.com)
or Aaron at Outmotoring (outmotoring.com) They can both help you through your mods. There are tons of others, but I have worked with both and they are both fantastic. |
Welcome coopercar. Your going to find loads of good info here.
Air intake is a quick and easy mod. Many of the people right now are having the pully mod done. I've read over the last two days about an ECU mod and don't forget about the good old Duct Tape mod. |
I've got a good listing of resellers, clubs, how tos, and all sorts of stuff at my site: Bridger.us/MINI
I would 2nd that call to Randy as well. He's a good person to talk to about performance mods. |
OK - i'll bite - what's the "duct tape" mod?

How utterly rude of me!
Welcome. You have found a friendly (usually) and informative (usually) MINI owner's and admirer's community. Search through the threads and you can find tons of info on anything you need to know about your MINI. I am using threads here to go, right now, solve a couple of rattles. Good luck and HAPPY MOTORIN!    |
