How cool!!!

I don't see any Cosworth parts in packages 1 and 2 - except 'exterior badges' in Pack 2? How are they associated with Cosworth? Seems to me that unless you get into Pack 3, you're not using any Cosworth parts, so you shouldn't be badging your car...

M7,

What parts on your site, more specificly in the cosworth package, are for the standard cooper? On the site it says "With this new partnership comes three high-performance packages designed specifically for the MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S.", But I have yet to see any packages for the Cooper.....what gives?

Please clarify.....

When you purchase an "Eddie Bauer Edition" Ford Bronco, you aren't getting Eddie Bauer parts included in the manufacturing process. You're getting a vehicle that has some interiors that are designed in conjuction with Eddie Bauer.

I would imagine the same is true, here. I doubt Cosworth would consider adding their name to any product or group of products unless they had some input as to what that product did and how it did it. They are Cosworth...THEY DON'T NEED TO

adding up
injectors: 400
AGS/TB: 500?
catchcan: 120
schrick cam: 500
software: 500
makes the head about 1500?

if it works, it sounds good enough. any data on the head? like valve sizes, etc. is there a core exchange?

As a huge Champcar/Cosworth/Mini, fan, I am waiting (impatiently) for the usual and obligatory performance numbers and graphs.

I think it's great that Peter is offering the MTH software, as for a CVT it works magic I've heard.

please delete off topic

Check out GoMini magazine. There are several articles they have published with modded Coopers. I think the Brits are more into it because insurance rates are about 4X higher over there and the penalty for an "S" is out of a lot of budgets......check it out.......you may surprise yourself.

i would like some other parts for the MC's that would give a bit more performance. simple stuff. ECU stuff for example. seems all the ECU upgrades i see are for MCS only. WTF is that????

its a joke, its the same thing that happens between GT and V6 Mustangs......

Well, there's not a bigger Champ Car World Series fan than I, so I'm quite familiar with what Cosworth is up to these days (supplying the entire grid with motors for example), yet I had NO idea this was in the works?!?!

Cool. I just might have to add some more bits to my ride.

Congrats to Peter, M7 and Cosworth for coming together on this.

You think billet really fits the mini? Plastic and non-matching seems pretty appropriate for our cars.

make it look like the factory "cooper" emblems at least, for god sake, for 3500 bucks, you better get something better than a piece of black plastic with some hokey chrome job on it and a strip of double sided tape on it.

liek said before it looks 70's or 80's, like it came off a cavalier from the 80's or something

As far as the cheesy logo discussion is concerned, perhaps a logo mounted to a parralelogram badge (to align with the angles of the door and tail light cuts would look nicer.

take this:

...and make something roughly like this (my photoshop job):

I'm thinking polished chrome to match the Cooper badge. the lettering could be black laquer like the works badge.
