Im ready to make power

so I’m ready to hit max power on stock internals. How much power can I make and what do I need for it?

All the stuffs.

Start with basic bolt ons: intake, downpipe, intercooler, exhaust. Then add a stage 2 tune from MarioKart.

How good of condition is your engine?
How well has maintence been done?
HPFP, Clutch, oil leaks, carbon clean etc??

I just hit 100k... new clutch like 20k mikes ago, new coils and plugs 10k miles ago, new battery 5k miles ago, never done carbon cleaning, got an oil chance recently and the guy said there was a small oil leak somewhere but it’s not major yet but I do need to get it checked out. 2012 mcs has done me good

Sounds like some of the big ticket items have been done.

With a higher hp output of a tune, will come a higher demand on the HPFP... good idea to know where that is at.

My understanding on the N14, you should know exactly the condition of the timing chain and tensioner assemblies.

I'm going with the same tune on my 2011 N18... I'll also be ensuring that all of this has been done, and I'll probably change out the rod bolts to ARP for good measure as well. A better intercooler is pretty much standard for any power bumps, and will let you keep that power once things warm up from spirited driving.

Tend to the basics and, from what I can tell, you will be rewarded. Ignore them, and the power bump will magnify the potential for issues.

My 2¢

I would of course complete your maint like carbon clean, plugs,
fuel filter
https://www.waymotorworks.com/fuel-f...7-r58-r59.html

then the first mod would be a Forge intercooler
https://www.waymotorworks.com/forge-...r-s-turbo.html

Also the powerflex engine bushing is great and cheap to reduce engine rock
https://www.waymotorworks.com/powerf...unt-large.html

Then make a budget plan of how much and how far do you want to go. Going for downpipe, cams, diverter valves, and ECU tune to really up the power next.
