So I just had an Elite Tuner installed yesterday and JCW Tuning Kit a few weeks ago on my standard S. I’m wondering what mode is recommended for safe use with 91 octane gas (max available in AZ). The app says race mode is ok with 91 although Dinan recommends 93, however I’m not sure if the JCW tune makes a difference here. Dinan directed me to order the JCW specific tuner as it is apparently based on the remap the dealership did for the install of the Tuning Kit.

My concern is mainly maximum safe boost levels with the standard turbo.

edit: I spoke with Dinan directly today. It turns out the app does not communicate with the Elite tuner at all as there are no adjustable modes. The app is for the Sport tuner only but still “connects” to the Elite tuner. Just wanted to make sure I informed anyone that might stumble upon this post.
