JB+ issues

Anybody have issues with the jb+ adapting? I installed it as the directions stated but still don’t see an increase in power or boost. Driven about 140 miles in two days. WOT and cruising speeds. It is the newer carb version.
i re installed it with the dial turned to 50% to see if that does anything. Wondering if anyone else has had issues.
My next step is to disconnect the battery for a few hours and then reinstalling the JB+ after a couple days of driving.

2012 MCS R56 N18. It is a true 2012 model btw.

When I had one, which was the earlier version it was noticeable almost immediately. Did you buy it new?

I don't think the disconnect battery will do anything for you.

Nope I bought it from a reputable person. Bought it used. I’m going to try and few things here and there before I give up and go For a legit tune

I just installed the JB+ last week and it came preset at 100%. The instructions noted that if using 93 or better to leave it at this setting. Feel it most after 3k rpm's.

had a stuttering issue. Gone after I switched to e85 mix. Turned it down to 75% holding at 14-15lbs.

asysavanh what mix are you using? I’m having similar issues even at 50% unfortunately I’m in Houston and the temps in the middle of the day are over 100degrees. Does anyone have any experience with jb+ and high temps. Does higher octane do the trick or is meth the only solution?

I have the current version in Austin and keep it set at 100% with no heat related issues using 93.

S-2013 do you know what boost levels you’re hitting? If I set it at 100% I get over 20psi and go into limp mode. Also I bought it used from another NAM memeber so I might have to older version. I also use 93 octane gas.

I can check using my P3 OBDII gauge but read it doesn’t read boost accurately using any piggyback tuners.

Finally figured out what was wrong. It was the spark plugs. They were in dire need of replacing and went with the NGK ones recommended on Burger’s site. Now I’m set at 100% with 93 gas and hitting 18-19lbs without issues!

i went with the 95770 as suggested by burger below. I’ve read that the 1422 also work great, but are a step colder than the 95770.
