Hard to believe a 85-ft-lb bolt worked loose in 26,400 feet.

You sure you didn't set the torque wrench to 8.5 ft-lb?

It was at 85 ft-lbs. It is a rather old old torque wrench might be a bit out of calibration. It felt pretty damn tight when I was doing it.
