Boost or Boost/Vacuum gauge?

I want to add a boost gauge to my Clubman. I have a 2012 model with the N18 engine, and I know the manifold will mostly only show boost, and not vacuum.

What are your thoughts about adding a boost only gauge, instead of a boost/vacuum gauge?

Actually, it shows vacuum more than boost. Get a gauge that shows both.

One benefit is that you can maximize fuel economy by keeping the needle in the vacuum range as much as you can.

the n18, after "warm up" will only show about 5" of vacuum max, will usually hang around 1-3", however I would get a gauge that does both - it would be an easy indicator if something weren't working correctly to see a lot of vacuum under normal conditions

A vacuum gage will read in inches of mercury, not psi.

Check out the Cravenspeed mount kits and Marshall gauges.
