Josh... what "power module" (assuming piggy back?) was on your test car that the dyno results came from?

I was wondering why every other intake have an heatshield and that one doesnt. Wouldnt that design would be benefit with one?!

The S-FLO does have a heat shield, Z. It's just not a fully enclosed box -- not sure if that's what you are referring to or not.

Certainly. You are correct in saying some MAFs become upset, but rather the possibility of such an occurrence is only prone to happening when a filer is oiled excessively. The difference in flow is significant when comparing oiled and dry filters with the latter being superior amongst the two variants, while oiled filters capture significantly more particulate than dry filters.

Its been radio silence. I would not order one until they get the new one out. I am still waiting for my replacement and even sent a status email this week to no reply.

I have had my revised intake installed for over 5,000 miles and have had zero issues. I live local and I guess I was a test bed for them and I am thrilled with the intake. It looks and sounds great and provides a nice kick when you hit the go pedal.

Holy *****, these intakes still aren't ready? I'm glad I sent mine back to you guys in April and didn't wait around for a replacement based on a 2-4 week estimate at the time. Jesus.

What was revised on the intake? Was going to order one earlier but needed the funds for Mini Takes The States which was a blast, minus getting a cracked windshield going into Detroit. Would like to pick one up before the VIR track day in September if its out.

First it was Fitment issues (mine was initially delayed so that it could be preemptively fixed before sent out to me)

And then they were getting CELs (which mine got but they, to their credit, sort of warned me about -- albeit after I installed it)

All this despite the "perfect fitment" and "No CEL" guarantees. I ended up going with Neuspeeds intake and had none of the above issues and loved how it deepened the sound.

I gave up a Cravenspeed intake to get the AWE. The first issue was the hole for the MAF was too small, so they sent a replacement. The next was the CEL due to the inside dimensions of the MAF tube being out of spec. I'm a little impatient myself, but I figure it's worth the wait since they actually dynoed the intake and it showed a HP increase. Plus, I love the look of the CF under the hood. I still have a Cravenspeed intake for sale if anyone is getting impatient.
