DSC kicks in during 70 MPH
Well it happen again! 2 days ago, driving home from work in our 106 deg. California weather, the car started having some problems. During acceleration around 3200 rpm the DSC light came on and the car whet into DSC mode. After this DSC “mode” happened 3 times the SEL came on. When I let off the gas it would start acting normal and drive normal but periodically the DSC “mode” would kick in and the car had no power. I needed gas so I stopped at the gas station to fill up. After filling up the car was fine. Well, computer problems…maybe it need a restart? Today it happens again, I was almost stranded in the fast lane... Luckily I was close to home and took side streets for the next 7 miles. When I reached home, I hooked up my OBD scanner to read the code.
Fault code 2303
I can’t find what this code means. Anyone have a clue of what this code is and why I am having this problem??

Not sure the exact code definition, but this sounds to me like an ABS wheel sensor acting strange. The signal is probably weak or intermittent for some reason, causing the DSC to believe the wheel is losing grip and the DSC is falsely trying to rein it in. Repeated occurances throw a code, setting the SEL.
Sounds like a trip to the dealer for warranty work.

I had a similar problem. Mini started misfiring around 4500. DSC light would come on and then SEL would stay on. My code was misfire cylinder 3. Dealer couldn't fix it. They changed my coil, #3 wire, and #3 spark plug. I had all aftermarket stuff on. They said my Mini was too heavily modified for them to fix. They tried to blame my Powerchip program, wanted to reflash.( Program had be working fine for 6 months.) I said no and took it home. I pulled out all 4 of my IK22 plugs, put in the stock plugs and it's been fine ever since.
So don't let the DSC light throw you. it's probably like Ryephile said, check your coil.
