Drivetrain Custom Side Exit Exhaust
Custom Side Exit Exhaust
I know what you are all thinking already....
WHY???
The answer is slightly boredom and slightly because looks and to be different. Basically how it turned out was we ordered 2.5 inch piping and a resonator from Vibrant and spent a good portion of a day test fitting and welding it all together.
We just made a flange using the stock exhaust pipe and cat and the help of a 2.25 to 2.5 adapter. from there we ran a small section of 2.5 inch pipe into the resonator and then a few more feet of pipe just until a little bit before the fuel tank. We used sections of the mandrel bent piping we ordered to make the turns we needed and then ran some more piping until the dual tip. We used the spot where the rubber flap was before the tank as a mounting spot and clamped the exhaust to it. Heat wrapped everything starting a bit before the bends.

Overall, I'm incredibly happy with the sound of it. It's definitely sketchy driving every day because of how low it sits but I've had it on for almost a week now and it has yet to even scrape on the bottom.
