Better recirc/diverter valve

So I have a Battle/DNA stage 3 tune. I have a GFB diverter valve installed but I occasionally get a CEL for overboosting, and I can feel the DV valve not opening/closing fast enough. I was wondering what valve i could run that would be faster. Looking for a top of the line solution (dont mind paying $250+ if it is going to eliminate the issue) If you could post some suggestions that would be great. Thanks

Interesting as I just installed the GFB on my Manic tuned R56. with 23 psi of boost: So far great but..... are you sure this is the cause? When you say over boosting, should than not eliminated with the tune??? Manic has that written out of the code as the cars are going towards 23 and I though battle was lower. I know Battle has not fully unlocked the DME codes.
I tried the ALTA diverter and it sucked; torn diaphragm, stuck piston, boost bleed off...
I sent it back to them.

It is the only thing I can think of. It didn't start until I got the tune. I am in no way knocking battle/dna, their service has been incredible. I was just thinking that since I got the tune and am making more boost, that that is what is causing the issue. Let me clarify a little better on exactly what is going on. In low gears (1-3 mainly) I can mash on the gas and the car goes. In my high gears... especially 6, i cant mash on it at all. If I do the rpms go real high, real fast and I loose all my boost and the CEL comes on behind the steering wheel, but not on the speedo. If I continue driving for a short time the CEL goes away like nothing ever happened. I also get the CEL from time to time if I accelerate fast in a low gear, let off and then get right back on the gas. When I do that sometimes the car will act like it wants to boost and go, but it is kind of jumpy like the DV doesnt know what to do. It doesnt happen every time though. I tried reading the CEL with my scangauge 2, powergate 3, and a normal code reader. But none of them detected the code. I am under the impression that it is overboost because it completely cuts out my boost when the light is on. If some one has any ideas or suggestions on what this might be, please let me know. Thanks!!!!

Is the GFB for your car specifically? I know with the forge unit. People mixed up and bought N14 instead of N18 and it will cause similar issues like yours. I know GFB makes a DV for the N18 automatic transmission only and N14. Maybe match your model number and see if it's the right one for your vehicle. As a start.

Model number is T9351. I checked battles website and the DV they have listed on there is the T9352. From the quick search that I just did, the model I have is showing it is for Audi, VW etc. While the T9352 is for Mini, Citroen, and Peugeot. What would the major difference be between the 2 models that could be causing such an issue? I will order the T9352 in hopes that fixes the issue. Thanks for the suggestion johnotah94. Indimanic I pmed you

I use and would recommend the Forge valve as it is a complete replacement that you can swap springs out if you need a stiffer spring for more boost.
